Wholesale PP Luggage, Straight from the Mould

Polypropylene trolley cases, bought by the set or by the size, branded with your label and loaded into a container with several models in it. This page is the short version of what a first wholesale order with us actually involves.

What PP actually is, and where it wins

PP means polypropylene. The shell is injection moulded in one piece, so it has no seam to split and no fabric to scuff. Compared with ABS it flexes rather than cracks under airport handling, and compared with polycarbonate it costs less per unit — which is why PP owns the volume end of the hard-shell market rather than the premium end.

For a buyer the practical consequence is simple: PP is the material you put in front of customers who travel a few times a year and expect the case to survive the hold. If your market is business travellers paying for lightness and finish, polycarbonate is the better story — and we will say so rather than sell you PP.

What a wholesale order looks like here

Two shapes of order come through most often. The first is a set programme: one colour story across cabin, medium and large, sold to a retailer as a matching three- or four-piece. The second is a size run: more cabin cases than large ones, because that is what reorders fastest, with the sizes broken out rather than nested.

Both can ship in the same container. Colours can be split inside a carton, models can be split inside a container, and each carton is marked with the model, colour and size it holds so your warehouse is not opening boxes to find out.

The five spec decisions that move your landed cost

Buyers often compare quotes that are not comparable. These are the line items that separate one price from another, and the ones worth fixing in writing before you ask for a number:

  • Shell thickness and finish — a thin wall saves weight and cost; a high-gloss finish shows scratches sooner than a textured one
  • Wheel set — single or dual spinner wheels, and the grade of the wheel housing
  • Lock — combination lock or key lock; the lock is also a customs question in some markets
  • Trolley — number of stages and tube grade; this is the part that fails first
  • Packing — nested or individually boxed, and the carton configuration that decides how many sets fit in a 40HQ

Why a low minimum is possible at all

Nothing about a first order requires a new mould. The shells already exist, the colours are already in stock, and your logo goes onto a case that is already in production. So the two tiers are simple: 10 pieces per model in a stock colour on the stock specification, and 200 pieces per model once you change the shell colour to your Pantone, add your logo or specify your own packaging. Neither tier carries a tooling charge buried in the unit price.

If you want a shell that does not exist yet, that is a different project with a different cost structure. We will tell you which one you are asking for.

How a first order runs

Send the model or a reference photo, the colours, your logo artwork, the quantity and the destination country. We come back with what is possible at that quantity, a price, and the sample timeline. You approve a sample, we run production, one inspector walks the line, and the shipment leaves with the export documents.

Questions buyers ask on this

What is your minimum order quantity?

10 pieces per model in a stock colour on the stock specification, and 200 pieces per model once you change the shell colour to your Pantone, add your own logo or specify your own packaging. Both are per model, not per container — several models can still travel in one shipment.

Can you supply a TSA lock?

Yes. The standard lock is a combination lock; a TSA lock can be fitted instead on request. Say so on the enquiry so it goes into the quotation rather than being discovered at the sample stage.

Can I mix several models in one container?

Yes. That is the normal way our small and medium buyers ship: three or four models, a couple of colours each, consolidated into one container with one set of export documents. The mix has to make sense against the container volume, which is what we check when we quote.

Can I order a sample before committing?

Yes. Samples are produced with your branding where the branding method allows it, and the sample cost and timeline are confirmed with the quote.

Do you supply certificates for the European or US market?

Tell us the destination and the document your customs broker or retailer requires, and we will confirm what the factories can issue for that model. We do not claim a certificate on this website that we cannot put in your hand.

Can you pack for Amazon FBA or my own warehouse?

Yes — individual boxing, barcode labels and carton marking can all be specified. Send the label requirements with your enquiry and they go into the quotation.

Send the model and the quantity.

You get what is possible at that volume, a price, and the sample timeline — not a catalogue download.
