Custom Logo Luggage and Private Label Suitcases

Private label on a hard-shell case comes down to one question: which branding method, on which surface, at which quantity. Get that right and the case looks like your product instead of a decorated stock item.

Five ways to put your brand on the case

Moulded badge — a raised plate set into the shell. The most permanent option and the one that reads as a manufactured product rather than a printed one.

Metal plate — a thin etched plate riveted or adhered to the front. Sharp on shelf, suited to a premium price point.

Direct print — UV or pad print onto the shell. The cheapest way to get colour and a graphic, and the option with the widest colour range.

Woven or PU label — stitched to the lining, the trolley or a side panel. Low cost, good for a secondary mark.

Printed lining and dust bag — the details a customer sees after they have already bought. Cheap to add, disproportionately effective on reviews.

No tooling cost, and what that means

Because the shells already exist, branding does not require a new mould. You are not paying for tooling and you are not waiting for a mould to be cut — which is why a private label order can be small.

What you are paying for is the branding step and the packing run. That is also why the minimum differs by method: a printed logo and a moulded badge do not have the same set-up.

What we need from you to quote

Five things, and the quote is usually the same day:

  • Vector artwork — AI, EPS, PDF or SVG; a JPG screenshot cannot be used for print or for a badge
  • Pantone reference for the brand colour, if it must match
  • Placement — front shell, trolley, lining label, or a combination
  • Quantity, and whether the order is one model or several
  • Packaging — poly bag, individual box, printed box, or marketplace-ready labelling

Colour matching across a repeat order

A custom Pantone is mixed per order. That is fine for one run and risky across reorders, because a second mix will not be identical under retail light.

If you plan to reorder, either pick a stock colour and put your brand on it, or keep a colour standard with us and ask for a batch comparison before the second run ships. We would rather tell you this before the first order than after the second.

Sampling, then production

You approve a branded sample before production. The sample is where placement, colour and finish get settled — changing a logo position after production starts is a rework, not an edit.

Once the sample is signed off, the spec is written down and the repeat order follows the same spec. That written spec is the reason a second order matches the first.

Questions buyers ask on this

Can I put my logo on a stock model without a tooling cost?

Yes. Printing, badges, plates and labels are applied to shells that already exist, so there is no mould cost. A new shell shape would be a tooling project — that is a different conversation and we will say so clearly.

What file format do you need for my logo?

Vector — AI, EPS, PDF or SVG. For a moulded badge the artwork also needs to work as a single-colour raised shape, which usually means simplifying fine detail.

Can you match my brand Pantone?

Yes, on the shell, trim and wheels, priced per order. For repeat orders we recommend keeping a colour standard with us so batch two can be compared against batch one.

Can I have my own packaging and dust bag?

Yes — printed boxes, dust bags, barcode labels and carton marking are all specified per order. Artwork and dimensions go into the quotation.

How small can a private label order be?

200 pieces per model for custom branding — your colour, your logo, your packaging. If you can sell a stock colour as it is, the entry point is 10 pieces, and the logo can be added later once the model proves itself.

Can the lock be a TSA lock?

Yes. The standard specification is a combination lock and a TSA lock can be fitted instead on request — it is a lock change, not a new mould, so it does not change the 200-piece minimum.

Send the model and the quantity.

You get what is possible at that volume, a price, and the sample timeline — not a catalogue download.
